What's this all about?

Lando will pay you a commission for any new referred clients. Commission will be allocated to your own Lando account or you can have it paid out if you wish.

For every new client, you will receive one competition entry, with a chance to win
R10 000.

How much will I be paid?

Lando will pay an amount equal to the value of one month of services which a new client subscribes for to a maximum value of R250. Refer 12 new clients over a year and receive your Internet services that year for free.

Receive an even greater benefit by referring new clients who subscribe to higher value services than your own. An example would be if you are using a dialup service and refer only 4 new clients that subscribe for a 3GB ADSL service, then you will receive your dialup service free for that year.

Receive an additional competition entry for each new client referred, thereby enhancing your chances to win the R10 000.

The new client will also receive one month of free services up to the value of R250, as well as receive an entry in the “New Client Competition” also standing a chance to win R10 000.

With web design the commission gets even better. You will receive up to 5% of the project value.

So how does it work?

We have made it as simple as possible to refer new clients. You can use any of the following methods:

  • Send a gift certificate with your details completed to the person you want to refer.

  • Fill in your details and the name of the person being referred to generate a gift certificate.
  • Print the certificate and hand it to the person being referred or alternatively print the certificate to a PDF file that can be emailed to the person referred. Click here to download and install a free program (PDFCreator) to enable you to print PDF files.
  • PDFCreator installs as a printer on your computer.
  • When the printing window opens, instead of printing to paper (with your normal printer), choose PDFCreator.
  • The file is then printed to a PDF document which can then be saved to your computer and sent as an attachment with your mail program.
  • A new client being referred must attach the gift certificate to their application for you to qualify for the commission.

  • Include a link to the Lando website in your email signature. An email signature is attached to all outgoing emails and will be received by all email recipients. If a person signs up using this method they must attach the email received to their application form for you to qualify for the commission.

    Follow the steps below to install the Lando Signature on your mail program.

  • Save the .zip folder under My Documents
  • Unzip the file

    • 1. Installing the Lando signature on Outlook Express
  • Open Outlook Express
  • Go to Tools -> Options -> Signatures
  • Click on New -> Rename -> Rename "Signature #1" to "Lando"
  • Select the option "File" and click on the browse button
  • Select the file that you unzipped i.e. LandoSignature.html
  • Make sure "Add signatures to all outgoing messages" is selected
  • Click on OK
  • With an existing signature: When creating a new message, move the cursor below your existing signature and click on Insert -> Signature -> Lando. You have the option to decide which email recipient receives the Lando signature.
  • With no existing signature: When creating a new message, the Lando signature will automatically show up as your default signature.


    • 2. Installing the Lando signature on MS Outlook
  • With an existing signature:
  • Open the unzipped file i.e. LandoSignature.html in your Internet Browser
  • Open MS Outlook
  • Go to Tools -> Options -> Mail Format -> Signatures...
  • Select your existing signature
  • Click on Edit...
  • Go back to the open .html document and right click on the image and click on Copy
  • Go back to MS Outlook and move the cursor below your existing signature, right click and click on Paste
  • Click on OK -> OK again -> OK again

  • With no existing signature:
  • Open MS Outlook
  • Go to Tools -> Options -> Mail Format -> Signatures...
  • Click on New...
  • Enter a name for your signature e.g. Lando
  • Select "use this file as a template" and click on the browse button
  • Select the file that you unzipped i.e. LandoSignature.html
  • Click on Next >
  • Click on Finish
  • Click on OK -> OK again
  • The Lando signature will automatically show up as your default signature.
  • You can also provide us with the details of anyone we could contact who will benefit from services provided by Lando. Please notify the person beforehand that someone from Lando will be contacting them. We do not want to surprise anyone with a phone call they are not expecting.
  • Lastly the old fashioned way of telling someone about services provided by Lando. The new client signing up must specify the email address of the person that referred them.
