Here are some advantages of ADSL:

  • This is a permanent connection to the internet.
  • The same line can still be used for voice calls or faxes.
  • The speed is much higher and the connection much more reliable than a regular dialup modem.
  • An additional line does not have to be installed to use ADSL. The existing line however needs to be upgraded.
